Please fill out this form as completely and accurately as possible so we can get to know you and your pet before your visit.

Below is the dog obedience form for registration. We feature basic puppy and adult dog obedience classes as well as more advanced training such as higher obedience, agility, and therapy preparation. Read more about our different classes here. Puppy, beginner obedience, level two obedience, RALLY, agility, and therapy dog preparation classes are all 6 week classes that meet for one hour weekly. The cost for each session of classes is $125.00.

  • Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday evening.
  • Additional puppy & beginner obedience classes are added on Thursday evenings as needed.
  • Classes are held at Riversbend Animal Hospital, 745 Water Tower Rd, Big Rapids.

Puppy classes, for puppies 12 weeks to 6 months of age, are once a week at 6:00 P.M. Tuesdays or Thursdays

Adult dog classes, for dogs over 6 months, are once a week at 7:15 P.M. Tuesdays or Thursdays

Classes consist of basic dog obedience and learning to live a more balanced life with your dog.

Private and Semi-private lessons for dog obedience instruction is available. Level Two Obedience, Beginner Agility, RALLY, and Therapy Dog Preperation Classes will also be offered.

Registration: $125.00 for each session of classes. Our classes are held for six week sessions, one hour each week. (To register for Level Two Obedience, Beginner Agility, RALLY, and Therapy Dog Preparation Classes your dog must have completed basic obedience.) Call for information on private or semi-private lessons.

Class equipment: Bring a standard 6-foot non-retractable leash. Make sure your dogs collar fits properly. You may use a standard buckle collar or a training collar. Training collars will be available for purchase at class. We encourage the use of treats in class. If you would like to use treats to train your dog please bring them with you.

Vaccinations needed are Rabies, DHPP, Leptospirosis & Bordetella.

Puppies must be current on vaccinations for their age to attend class.
